ANSYS SpaceClaim enables us to create, edit and repair geometry without worrying about underlying technology. With SpaceClaim, we can design complete assemblies such as jigs and fixtures. We can also import customer CAD files in their native format enabling us to modify them as part of a design for manufacture exercise and return them to the customer for analysis.
SpaceClaim is also a powerful aid to our sheet metal department with full design and unfold capabilities. It is also very adept at reverse engineering and converting older DXF files into solid models. See SpaceClaim in Action Here….
An Additional Seat of FeatureCAM Purchased
As part of this investment program we have also purchased a second seat of FeatureCam. This new seat comes with machine simulation, 5 axis positioning, and the enhanced 3D HSM milling module.
